Muyiwa is a partner and has a broad dispute resolution and commercial practice with emphasis on – international commercial arbitration, cross-border litigation and tax.

Mr Ogungbenro has extensive knowledge and experience in international commercial arbitration. In a multi-billion-dollar UNCITRAL arbitration, Mr Ogungbenro led the legal team of an investor on disputes arising from pre-emption rights in the shareholders’ agreement of Airtel (Nigeria). He represented Suburban Telecom Group in a multi-million-dollar LCIA arbitration in London. Mr Ogungbenro regularly advises a major international law firm on arbitral proceedings.

Mr Ogungbenro has advised several businesses and projects on Nigerian and international taxation. The clients and projects advised by Mr Ogungbenro includes: transfer pricing of a multinational tobacco company; acquisition of 459 base stations by a multinational telecommunication company; and structuring of a private aircraft charter company. He also advised on Nigerian tax implications of a holding company structure to a leading Nigerian consumer products manufacturer.

Mr Ogungbenro is a student member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. He has achieved the Knowledge Module of the ACCA. He obtained a Master of Law (LLM) degree from The University of Manchester, UK in 2010. Mr Ogungbenro was called to the Nigerian bar in 2005 as barrister and solicitor of the Nigerian Supreme Court. He obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2003.
